Currently WN-CARD is involved in the following activities in the different programme areas:
- Environment and renewable energy
- Sensitization of the community in selected sub-counties in West Nile sub region
- Radio talk shows and spot messages on environmental conservation activities
- Make briquettes for WN-CARD to enhance energy saving techniques
- Grow and distribute tree seedlings for planting to selected communities
- Production of quarterly newsletter on environmental conservation and energy
- Sustainable agriculture
- Training on early land opening
- Training on early planting of crops immediately when the rains start
- Set a demonstration site for WN-CARD
- Training on early weeding and pruning.
- Formation of clusters in communities for agricultural training on good economic practices
- Community Health
- Sensitization on HIV/AIDS to selected groups in Arua and Yumbe districts
- Provision of HIV Counselling and Testing
- Promotion of Behavioural Change Communication Messages
- Referrals of patients for treatment.
- Provision of care.
- Condom promotion and distribution.
- Training of community TOTs
